Katherine and Kale’s downtown Columbus, Ohio wedding was simply stunning. Dusty light blues and succulents galore! How could you go wrong?!
We started the day at the Hilton Downtown Columbus with some getting ready and detail shots. I then coordinated a stunning first look at the bridge that connects the hotel to the Columbus Convention Center. It is a breathtaking walkway and really set the mood for such an intimate and emotional moment.
We then took a limo to their rustic and historic wedding and reception venue, High Line Car House, in the Columbus Brewery District/German Village area. I quickly captured shots with the bridal party and of the beautiful couple before it was time for them to say their I Dos. Katherine’s mom really stepped up her game and created a show stopping macrame that hung just behind the couple during the ceremony. It really set the mood and style of the couple and day.
After the ceremony, it was time for food, sweets, music, and heartfelt speeches. Two Caterers never disappoints and I still talk about their mini meatball sandwiches! SO GOOD!
I had such a wonderful time getting to know Katherine and Kale’s family and friends. They are surrounded by such wonderful and loving people and they really made the day unforgettable. I wish Katherine and Kale all the best and I hope you enjoy a sampling of what I captured on their wedding day!
